A 27-YEAR man has been charged with firearms offences amid reports a man with a gun was trying to stop cars in Killinchy, Co Down.
Specialist police firearms officers went to the village following reports the armed man was trying to stop cars at about 6pm on Wednesday.
The man was arrested on Wednesday and charged last night.
He is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrate's Court this morning.
