THREE judges are to be appointed to the north's Court of Appeal.

The judges are: Sir Ben Stephens, Sir Donnell Deeny and Sir Seamus Treacy.

Sir Ben and Sir Seamus were appointed as High Court judges in 2007. Sir Donnell became a High Court judge in 2004.

All three will be sworn into office at the Royal Courts of Justice later this year.
