Dungannon security alert ends after viable device made safe

RESIDENTS have been allowed to return to their homes following a security alert in Dungannon.

ATO attended the scene at Fairmount Park after a suspicious object was discovered.

Police say that a viable device was made safe and  has been taken away for further examination.



Inspector Robert McGowan appealed for information.

He added: “I would like to thank residents and the local business community for their patience during this operation.
