THE main road between Belfast and Bangor was closed on Tuesday night following a crash.
The collision near the Devil's elbow happened at around 8pm.
A man was taken to hospital after the accident suffering from serious head and chest injuries.
Police appealed for anyone who saw the crash to contact them on 101.
