A young mother-of-four who died almost a week after a road crash in Co Armagh has been described as a "beautiful girl inside and out".

Tanya Nesbitt (31), from Markethill, had been fighting for her life since the collision on October 26 but passed away in hospital on Tuesday.

She was last night described as a "bubbly, lovely girl" who was "dedicated to her four children".

Ms Nesbitt was injured in a crash involving a silver Vauxhall Vectra and a white lorry on the Gosford Road at its junction with the Killycarn Road at around 4.30pm last Wednesday.

The young woman was engaged to Paul Conn and had three young sons and one daughter.

A make-up artist in Co Armagh wrote on social media of her shock at news of her client's death.

"Tanya was a beautiful girl, such a bubbly character and her appointments were always filled with constant chatter and talk of her three boys, her little daughter Paige, her partner and family.

"I am so sorry for your loss and hope you find the strength to get through this sad time. Rest in peace Tanya."

A friend said: "So incredibly sad. Such a young woman who leaves behind an even younger family", while another said: "It is so sad, she was just such a bubbly lovely girl, I can't believe it".

One tribute simply said: "A beautiful girl inside and out. Tanya will never be forgotten".

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the collision or who was travelling in the area and has any information which may be of assistance to police to contact them.

Ms Nesbitt is survived by her partner Paul and four children, parents Granville and Noeleen and brother Adam.
