Co Down shop robbed at gunpoint

POLICE have appealed for information following an armed robbery in a Co Down village.

Two men entered the forecourt of the business on the Belfast Road in Dollingstown, near Lurgan, on a black motorbike at around 4.45pm.

One of the men entered the shop with a handgun, before the men made off in the direction of Cottage Road with a sum of money.

Both men were wearing black motorbike clothing and helmets.

Police ask that anyone with information about the incident, or who witnessed suspicious activity in the area contact them on 101 or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
