Three men rob Belfast restaurant at gunpoint

POLICE are hunting three men who robbed a south Belfast restaurant at gunpoint.

It happened shortly after 9.30pm on Wednesday in the Stranmillis Road area.

The men, one believed to have been armed with a firearm, stole money from the till and fled on foot.

All three men are described as wearing dark clothing. One is believed to be around 20 years old, while another was described as being in his late teens.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact officers at Musgrave Street station on the non-emergency number 101 or by callling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
