Man charged with attempted murder over Cookstown shooting

A 32-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder over a shooting in Cookstown.

A 35-year-man was shot in both legs when two men entered a house in the Drumcree area of the town at around 5.40pm on Sunday June 5.

The two men were wearing balaclavas and camouflage jackets and one was armed with a handgun.

The accused is to appear at Dungannon Magistrates Court this morning.
