A MAN is being treated in hospital for a serious head injury after a fright broke out in north Belfast just after midnight.
Three men aged 22, 29 and 50 and a woman aged 24 are in police custody after they were arrested in relation to the incident at Shore Crescent around 12.30am.
Detective Sergeant Michael Hawthorne said: “We received a report of a fight at around 12.30am and upon arrival of police, a man was found unconscious in the street. Another man was located in the vicinity with a number of injuries.
"Both men were taken to hospital for treatment with one of the men suffering from a serious head injury."
Police appealed for information.
