DOZENS of firefighters were continuing to battle a two-mile gorse fire in Co Tyrone yesterday evening.
At least eight fire engines were sent to tackle the blaze which broke out in the Stroanback, Dunnyboe area of Strabane yesterday afternoon.
A Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said firefighters were using beaters to put out the blaze.
A police helicopter provided support last night.
