A MAN is to appear in court in Belfast on Monday morning following the discovery of cocaine with a street value of £60,000.

The 34-year-old is charged with drugs and motoring offences, including possessing a class A drug with intent to supply.

Police said a man was arrested following a car crash in the Springfield Road area of west Belfast on Friday evening.

A quantity of suspected cocaine and cutting agent was found.

During a follow-up search at a house in the Edenderry area, a 27-year-old woman was also held on suspicion of drug offences but later released on bail pending further enquiries.
