Man arrested following burglary of Craigavon fast food outlet

A 24-year-old man has been arrested following a burglary at a food food outlet in Craigavon.

Police recieved a report that an alarm had been activated at the shop in Rushmere Shopping Centre at around 5.37am this morning.

Officers found the man in a toilet cubicle in the shopping centre and found a hammer, baton, mask and iPad at the scene.

Detectives are also investigating a possible link to two other incidents which occurred overnight. Entry was gained to Craigavon Watersports Centre and damage caused to a number of windows and damage was also caused to the premises of a sandwich shop at Rushmere Shopping Centre.
