A Polish family had stones thrown at their windows and were subjected to racist remarks, police have said.

Police are treating the incident, which took place on Monday February 1 on Carn Drive in Newtownabbey, as a hate crime.

Two children were in the house during the attack.

The PSNI believe that a teenage boy was among those involved.

They ask that anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who has any further information contact them on 101 or by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
