A lucky ticket holder in the Republic has come forward to claim a Euromillions win worth E66m (£50m).

The winner, who has not been identified, is one of two who shared a E132m (£100m) jackpot on Friday, January 29.

The other winning ticket was sold in France.

The winner's E66m prize is the fourth largest Euromillions win in the history of the game in the Republic.

An Irish National Lottery spokeswoman would not reveal where the ticket had been sold however the winner has 90 days to collect the cheque.
