Two men due in court over Woodvale violence

TWO men are due to appear in court this morning charged with a murder attempt allegedly involving a sword and a machete in north Belfast.

The men, aged 26 and 32, face a number of charges in relation to an alleged incident at a house in Woodvale Drive on Sunday morning.

The 32-year-old faces a total of 17 charges including two counts of attempted murder and two counts of attempted wounding, while the 26-year-old is charged with seven alleged offences including attempted murder and attempted hijacking.
