A CAR fire in Portadown, Co Armagh, is being treated as deliberate.

The incident was reported in the Mandeville Manor area of the town at about 3.20am on Friday.

Fire crews were called to the scene and the blaze was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus.

One fire appliance from Portadown Fire Station was deployed to the scene.

The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service finished at about 3.40am and the fire is being treated as deliberate.
