A mystery winner has now claimed a £60,000 EuroMillions prize which had been outstanding from last month.
The £60,145.90 prize was won on November 17 but had sat unclaimed for the past month.
The National Lottery revealed last night that the winner had now come forward and unless they opt to take full publicity and sign an agreement to that effect, no further information about the win could be released.
A National Lottery spokeswoman said: "We’re delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win.
"It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this substantial and life-enhancing amount of money. We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play".
