The funeral has taken place of 16-year-old Daryl Comac who was found dead in his bed last week.

Daryl loved Gaelic games and played football for Killyman St Marys GFC.

He also played hurling for Eoghan Ruadh hurling club in Dungannon and lined out for them at Croke Park at under-14 level.

His devastated mother Mairéad paid tribute to her son last week.

"He was an amazing, selfless son who would have done anything for anyone said with a big heart so full of love for everyone, especially his family and fiends," she said.

She said her son’s death has left "a massive gap in my life."

"He lived for his football and team mates and he loved wheeling and dealing, a real entrepreneur," she said.

"He would have put a smile on your face with his one liners and witty charm."
