A 28-year-old man suffered stab wounds after he was attacked by a gang of men at his north Belfast home.

Police said the man was stabbed in the arm after being confronted by four hooded men at the front door of his home in the Strathroy Park area shortly after 6.15pm on Wednesday.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
