AN adult and two juveniles are due to appear in court today on a ram raiding charge and several other burglaries in north Belfast and north Down.

Three people were arrested after two cars were stolen during a burglary in the Holywood area on Friday evening.

One was used to drive through the shop window of a fashion retailer on Lisburn Road in south Belfast when stock was then stolen from inside.

Police later arrested the three suspects after a serious road crash in the Cliftonville Drive area of north Belfast.

The trio are expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court charged in relation to the ram-raid incident, several other burglaries, aggravated taking of a vehicle and motoring offences.
