A new exhibition about the 300 women involved in the Easter Rising has opened at Dublin Castle.

The Mna-Women of 1916 Exhibition features previously unseen material on the women involved in the Easter Rising, including Countess Markievicz and Margaret Skinnider.

The exhibition was opened by Minister for arts, heritage and the Gaeltacht and was attended by Helen MacMahon, grand niece of member of the Cumann na mBan executive Sorcha MacMahon.
