A MASKED colour party has taken part in an Easter Rising commemoration in Lurgan.

Six men and a woman dressed in combat gear marched in the Republican Sinn Fein organised procession through the Kilwilkie estate this afternoon.

The march, which included a lone piper, made its way to nearby St Colman's Cemetery.

Several wreaths were laid and a statement was read out by a masked man on behalf "of the leadership of the republican movement".

A PSNI helicopter followed the march along its route and flew overhead at the cemetery.
