Park at Hill of the O’Neill reopens tomorrow

The public park at the Hill of the O’Neill will reopen tomorrow, Mid Ulster District Council has confirmed.

Initially the Dungannon park will be open from 9am to 5pm daily, however, Ranfurly House will remain closed.

“Access to the park will be through the pedestrian gates at the rear of the building. The viewing tower, event space and other facilities will also remain closed," a council spokesman said.

The spokesman urged the public to adhere to current health and safety guidelines.

“We would ask park users to adhere to all guidelines in relation to social distancing, and please show consideration to fellow park users, including the proper disposal of rubbish in bins provided and please avoid unnecessary touching of surfaces.

“We hope that the people of Dungannon and surrounding areas will enjoy making use of this safe, secure and scenic facility once more.”
