Brexit: What happens next

The British parliament is to have a final say on the Brexit deal agreed between Prime Minister Theresa May and the European Union

There are significant days ahead in the Brexit process. Here's what's set to happen over the next few weeks as the UK prepares to leave the European Union:

March 12: British prime minister Theresa May has told MPs a meaningful vote on her Brexit Withdrawl Deal will take place in the House of Commons by this date.

March 13: If MPs vote against the deal, two separate votes will then take place. The first will determine if the UK leaves the EU with no deal in place.

March 14: If MPs vote against a no-deal Brexit, a vote will be held to determine if Article 50 should be extended, delaying the withdrawal from theEU beyond March 29.
