IRISH economist David McWilliams and BBC broadcaster James Naughtie will be among speakers at a day-long conference on Brexit at Ulster University's Belfast campus next month.

'Brexit - What's next for Northern Ireland and the EU?' will focus on how the north can respond to the challenges of the UK's departure from the European Union.

The June 14 symposium will include a speech from former Labour government strategist Matthew Taylor, now chief executive of he Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.

Topics to be discussed will include the impact of Brexit on the north's infrastructure, politics and society and post-study work visas.
