Gerry Carroll second only to Arlene Foster for first preference votes

PEOPLE Before Profit's Gerry Carroll won his West Belfast seat with the second-highest first preference vote in the elections.

Mr Carroll had a personal vote second only to DUP leader Arlene Foster.

The top five candidates as per first preference votes:
