BROADCASTER Stephen Nolan will team up with RTÉ presenter Claire Byrne to host a special cross-border debate on Brexit.

Nolan Live will link up with Claire Byrne Live in an hour-long programme on Monday night.

Mr Nolan will broadcast from Dublin while Ms Byrne will make the trip north to present from BBC studios in Belfast.

In each studio, a panel will give their views on economic, constitutional and social issues linked to Brexit and the potential impact on Northern Ireland, the Republic and Britain.

Members of the audience in each studio will also give their views during the live debate.

Nolan Live previously teamed up with RTÉ's Prime Time to commission a cross-border survey of public opinion on a united Ireland.

The results of the survey were discussed on a special show in November 2015.

The Brexit debate will be broadcast on Monday at 10.40pm on BBC One and RTÉ One.
