Funeral of Co Tyrone crash victim to take place today

The funeral of a woman who was killed in a road crash on her way home from Sunday's All-Ireland final is due to take place today.

Joanne Tracey (36), from Greencastle, died after her car was involved in a collision with another vehicle outside Drogheda, Co Louth.

Mrs Tracey was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.

Dozens of tributes have been posted on social media describing the mother-of-three as a "beautiful lady" with a "gentle soul".

One friend said: "?True what they say god only takes the best. You're gonna be missed so much."

Mrs Tracey's funeral is due to be held in St. Patricks Church, Greencastle, at 11.00am following burial in the adjoining cemetery.

She is survived by her sons Daire, Shea and Dannin, husband Kevin, parents Jimmy and Phyllis and her five siblings.
