Grounded boat refloated on Lough Erne

RNLI crews assisted a grounded boat on Lough Erne in Co Fermanagh on Sunday

FOUR people have been rescued from a grounded vessel on Lough Erne.

Members of the Carrybridge RNLI’s inshore lifeboat and rescue water craft were launched at around 5.20pm after a request by Belfast Coastguard on Sunday.

On arrival the crews found a 23ft cruiser, with four people on board, had run aground close to the Share Centre.

Three of the four people on board were later transferred to the Share Centre while the vessel was refloated.

Both the remaining crew member and vessel were also brought to the Share Centre.
