A WOMAN questioned by police in relation to dissident republican activity has been released unconditionally.

Detectives from the PSNI's Terrorism Investigation Unit detained the 39-year-old in the Dunmurry area on the outskirts of west Belfast on Wednesday.

A search of an office on the Falls Road was also carried out.

PSNI Detective Inspector Andrew Hamilin said a number of items, were taken away for examination.

"We will continue to disrupt the activities of those involved in terrorism so that communities can prosper and live without fear," he added.
