LOYALIST blogger Jamie Bryson has asked for a dismissed complaint against Police Ombudsman Michael Maguire to be reviewed by the Department of Justice.

The move comes after the department threw out a complaint made by Mr Bryson after Dr Michael Maguire took part in the documentary No Stone Unturned about the 1994 Loughinisland killings during which the UVF shot dead six Catholic men.

Mr Maguire was featured in the documentary, which has been widely acclaimed.

“I look forward to the next stage of this complaint and, if need be, a more fuller investigation by Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman,” Mr Bryson said.
