THE Rolling Stones will be ridin' round the world, with a new tour that starts in Croke Park in less than three months.

The four-piece are going back on the road in May for a European tour that promises to be full of classics.

Despite the home of GAA in Dublin being the starting point for their `No Filter' tour on May 17, tickets for the stadium gig will be the last to go on sale, with Irish fans having to wait until March 23 to get their hands on them.

The May and June tour also takes in the UK, France, Germany, Czech Republic and Poland - it is `Part Two' of the successful sold-out series of concerts held last year.

Promising old favourites including `Satisfaction', `Paint It Black', `Tumbling Dice' and `Brown Sugar', each night the band is to include "a couple of unexpected tracks and randomly selected surprises" from their back catalogue.

"It's such a joy to play with this band there's no stopping us, we’re only just getting started really," Keith Richards said.

"This part of the `No Filter' tour is really special for the Stones," Mick Jagger said.

"We are looking forward to getting back onstage in the summer and playing to fans in the UK and Ireland. Its always exhilarating going to cities we haven't played for quite a while."

*Tickets for UK shows go on general sale on Friday March 2 while tickets for Dublin go on sale on Friday March 23.
