THREE men have been arrested after a BBC journalist was confronted and filmed by members of a self-styled paedophile hunter group.

Kevin Magee, an investigations reporter, was challenged by a group of ‘paedophile hunters’ on Botanic Avenue on February 6.

He was confronted after one of the group declined a request for an interview as part of a Spotlight programme.

The men, aged 28, 32 and 34 were arrested for crimes including disorderly behaviour and attempted intimidation.

They are expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates' Court this morning.

In addition, the 32-year-old and 34-year-old were arrested on suspicion of obstructing a road.

The three are also being questioned on suspicion of crimes including common assault, false imprisonment and disorderly behaviour on several dates between September 2017 and February 2018.

The men were arrested this morning.
