Win a chance to take your class on a trip to London
THERE'S just a few days left for schools to get their entries in for a chance to win a once in a lifetime trip to London.
Aer Lingus, in association with the Irish News and Q Radio, is calling on primary schools across Northern Ireland to remember the deadline of December 8.
Aer Lingus will fly the winning artist and their entire class from Belfast City Airport to London to spend the day at the Science Museum, taking a virtual reality space descent with astronaut Tim Peake and visiting Tomorrow’s World.
One runner up will take their class on a day trip to the Armagh Planetarium to learn about the solar system and space exploration.
This year's competition celebrates 10 years of Aer Lingus’ Art for Schools competition and their Belfast base, so they are asking primary school children to submit a drawing of what they think the world will look like in 10 years' time.
The judges would like to see what inventions school kids think will dominate, how technology will have evolved and what this means for them in everyday life.
The final shortlist will be made on December 11 and the winning school will be presented with their prize during a live link up on Q Radio’s Breakfast Show on December 15.
