TWO men armed with a wooden bat and a plastic recycling box have robbed a shop in east Belfast.
The men entered the premises on the Ravenhill Road on Monday shortly before 10.30pm.
Police said one man was armed with a wooden bat and the other was carrying a plastic recycling box.
The pair made off in the direction of Donard Street with a sum of money and a quantity of cigarettes.
Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
