THREE people have been charged after a man in his thirties was stabbed in north Belfast.

Two men aged 19 and 20 have been charged with attempted murder and other crimes following the attack on Antrim Road close to Duncairn Avenue at around 8.30am on Friday.

The 20-year-old is to appear before Belfast Magistrate's Court today to face charges including attempted murder, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, affray and possession of offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The 19-year-old man appeared before the same court on Saturday.

An 18-year-old woman has been charged with affray, two counts of assault on police, attempted criminal damage, resisting police, common assault and disorderly behaviour. She is to appear before Belfast Magistrate's Court on September 1.
