PLANS for the Titanic Maritime Festival were launched yesterday in Belfast. Tall Ships, naval vessels and street theatre will all feature during the three-day festival at Queen’s Quay and Titanic Quarter from June 16 to 18.

There will also be live music, arts and crafts and face painting during the three-day festival, which will take place.

For the first time it is part of a trio of consecutive Maritime Festivals beginning in Dublin, moving to Belfast before finishing in Liverpool.

Belfast Deputy Lord Mayor Mary-Ellen Campbell, welcomed plans for the festival saying it raised the spirits of the thousands of people drawn to Queen’s Quay and Titanic Quarter and added to the city's reputation as a fun, vibrant and welcoming place.
