PUPILS from a Co Down school have rubbed shoulders with a Hollywood movie star during the Belfast Film Festival.

Actor John Cusack (51) was in Belfast for a number of events as part of the festival, including a talk to more than 150 politics students at St Mary's College in the city on Saturday.

Students from Assumption Grammar School, Ballynahinch were among those to attend the event, which discussed issues raised in his book, 'Things that can and cannot be said', and were given a chance to meet the star afterwards.

Cusack, a producer and writer, has starred in more than 80 films including High Fidelity and The Grifters.
