SUICIDE prevention charity Pips have unveiled its Tree of Lights to remember all those at Christmas who have died by suicide this year.

Belfast lord mayor Brian Kingston switched on the lights on Sunday as families affected by suicide came together to remember those they have lost.

The charity, based on the city's Antrim Road, also hopes the event will share the message of hope for those in distress to speak out and ask for help.
