A MOTORCYCLIST has died following a collision in Co Down on Saturday.
Barry Bell (28), from the Belvoir area of south Belfast, died as a result of injuries suffered during a collision with a car on the Crossgar Road in Saintfield.
The crash happened at around 5.40pm on Saturday.
Mr Bell was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
Flowers and messages of tribute have been left at the scene of the collision.
It is understood that Mr Bell, also known as 'Larry', leaves behind a partner and a young son.
The Crossgar Road was closed for several hours throughout Saturday night and re-opened in the early hours of Sunday.
Police have appealed to anyone with information to contact officers on 101.
