A WOMAN'S fall from the window of a house in Co Tyrone is no longer being treated as suspicious, police have said.

The woman was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital on Monday morning after she suffered serious injuries in the fall at the house in Mourne Crescent in Coalisland.

Police had arrested four people - a 29-year-old woman and three men aged 24, 25 and 34 - following the fall.

However all four were later released unconditionally.

A police spokesman said: "Following police investigations into the circumstances of the incident in Mourne Crescent in Coalisland on Monday morning November 14 it has been established that the woman was injured as a result of a fall and not any criminal act."

The woman was initially described as critically ill in Craigavon Area Hospital. A spokesman last night said her condition was now stable.
