Michael McGibbon murder: Man (34) released
A 34-YEAR-OLD man who was being questioned about the dissident republican murder of taxi driver Michael McGibbon has been released pending a report to the PPS.
He was arrested in Belfast and was held in Musgrave Police Station .
Mr McGibbon (33), a father of four, died after he was shot several times in the leg in Butler Place in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast on Friday April 15.
He was killed in a botched so-called 'punishment' attack by a group calling itself the 'IRA'.
A 26-year-old man has also been being questioned as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity.
He was arrested after police carried out searches in Derry earlier.
