POP star Adele has undertaken some sightseeing in Belfast ahead of her sold-out gigs in the city tonight and tomorrow.

The 27-year-old singer tweeted about her visit to Titanic Belfast on Sunday, wishing Leonardo Di Caprio luck ahead of the Oscars.

The singer, whose album 25 last year smashed an 18-year sales record held by Oasis, will play in Belfast's SSE Arena on the next two nights as she kicks off her European tour.

Adele will also perform in Dublin on Friday and Saturday in her first tour in five years, when she was forced to cut her travels short due to the discovery of a haemorrhage on her vocal cord, which required surgery.

There were queues outside the SSE Arena as fans tried to snap up tickets for the highly anticipated Belfast shows.

Tickets for her Irish dates sold out within minutes of going on sale in December and touts quickly moved in to take advantage, offering tickets at inflated prices of more than £600 on unofficial sites.
