THREE men were last night being questioned by police on suspicion of Class A drugs offences after more than £100,000 worth of cocaine was seized.
Two of the men, aged 32 and 66, were detained when police stopped a car on the Belsize Road in Lisburn on Thursday night.
A third man, aged 28, was arrested during follow up searches at a number of addresses across the city.
During the operation, police recovered suspected high purity cocaine with an estimated value in excess of £100,000.
Officers also seized approximately 50kg of cutting agent, which police believe was intended to be used to bulk the drugs and increase street value.
Two high value cars and a large sum of cash were also seized.
