THE body of a man in his 40s has been found in a house Shankill area of Belfast.

The remains were discovered at a house in Paris Street in the early hours of Sunday.

Police remained at the property on Sunday night which was taped off while forensic officers carried out an examination of the scene.

A post mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.
