A 36-YEAR-old man was being questioned last night after around 25,000 Class C pills were seized.
The man was arrested in Newry yesterday on suspicion of drugs trafficking.
Both the PSNI and gardaí are investigating.
Detective Inspector Andy Dunlop warned people that they should only take medication which has been prescribed for them.
"People do not know what they are buying. A serious risk of harm exists to someone who illegally buys and consumes any medicines without a proper diagnosis having been made."
