New Country Music Festival for Omagh

A COUNTRY music festival featuring a host of well-known artists, including Dominic Kirwan and Philomena Begley, is set to take place at the Ulster American Folk Park in Co Tyrone this May Bank Holiday weekend.

Country In The Park will bring together an array of performers who will take to three stages against the popular museum’s picturesque backdrop in Omagh.

A feast of non stop music will be on offer each of the days, which will run from 2pm until 9pm.

There will also be a number of well known comperes including Hugo Duncan, Big T and Trevor Campbell

Those featuring on the line-up include Dominic Kirwan, Philomena Begley, Lee Matthews, Jimmy Buckley, Johnny Brady, Brian Coll and Declan Nerney.

The event will take place on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29.

Tickets cost £25 per day with a special ticket price for all under-16s of £15.

PS Promotions, who are running the event, have also introduced a special weekend ticket price of £45.
