A man in his mid-thirties was being questioned last night following anti-dissident republican raids in Co Louth earlier this week.
The man was arrested yesterday afternoon and was being questioned at Dundalk Garda station.
Gardaí seized a large haul of arms including AK47 assault rifles, mortars, explosive material, detonators, other bomb components and at least one revolver during raids on a house and land at Jenkinstown, close to the border, on Monday.
