THE record label which brought the world the Beatles is in Belfast to advise aspiring new musicians.
EMI Music is a global giant music company and produced the famous Fab Four's seminal Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band album.
The event is part of the Sound of Belfast festival which runs until November 14.
Stuart Bailie from the Oh Yeah Centre said: "We are delighted to be working with some of the biggest industry names in the business.
"The Sound of Belfast is a unique event expected to bring in over a quarter of a million pounds for the Northern Ireland economy over the nine-day period."
More than 5,000 people are expected to attend the events including a host of live gigs, conferences and workshops culminating in the awarding of the Northern Ireland Music Prize on November 14.
Universal Music Publishing, Virgin/EMI and BBC Radio 1 are among heavy hitters from the music industry taking part.
