Irish hunk Jamie Dornan cut from latest movie
FANS awaiting Northern Ireland actor Jamie Dornan’s latest cinematic performance will have to wait a little longer after it ended up on the cutting room floor.
The 33-year-old, from Holywood in Co Down, had made a small cameo role in Hollywood heart-throb Bradley Cooper’s new flick, Burnt however fans of the Irish hunk won’t get to see it.
The comedy tells the story of chef, Adam Jones, played by Cooper, who makes a second attempt at the restaurant business.
It is understood Jamie had been playing the role of a rival chef who had a past with Adam’s love interest, played by actress, Sienna Miller.
However, John Wells, who directed Burnt, revealed that Jamie’s part had been taken out of the finished movie.
“In making every film, cuts and adjustments in storylines inevitably occur,” he told Entertainment Weekly.
“In the case of Burnt, Jamie’s role was a small cameo that he was kind enough to do for us and was part of Sienna Miller’s character’s back story.
“We ultimately decided to focus on Adam Jones’ redemption story."
The director said he had been "thrilled to have Jamie" adding that his performance was "fantastic".
However, fans of the Northern Ireland actor have been told not to despair too much as the hunky father-of-one is set to return in a new series of crime drama, The Fall next year.
He has also been signed up to reprise his role as sexy billionaire, Christian Grey in a Fifty Shades of Grey sequel. Dornan is also set to star in a number of other movies next year, including war thriller Athropoid and Jadotville.
